Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Management

Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurial Management (EM) Program is designed for students with good leadership skills and a strong entrepreneurial inclination. It is the first and only program in the country that nurtures entrepreneurial talent as early as the adolescent years. The EM program is tough, intense, holistic, and integrated. It aims to develop individuals who are mentally sharp, socially adept, emotionally mature, and morally grounded.

Students under the program are expected to establish a viable business venture before graduation.

Teaching Methodology
The EM curriculum consists of 190 credit units to be accomplished within four years (including two summers). The subjects are divided into five learning clusters: personal formation, general education, business foundation, management foundation, and entrepreneurship. Faculty members are constantly exposed to the latest research and development in management, entrepreneurship, education, and psychology to enable them to understand and channel the energies of the students' creative and entrepreneurial minds. Teacher-student ratio is kept low to guarantee optimum learning.

Underlying Discipline
The Program has a strong bias for experiential learning. Students learn to be tough, to master themselves, to value teamwork, and to acquire a work ethic. They are given freedom to be resourceful, creative, and enterprising. Their entrepreneurial skills are honed through their projects under the New Business Ventures (NBV) series.

Students are also encouraged to take on projects that develop their sense of social responsibility.
