Bachelor/Master of Science in Industrial Economics

Overview
Master of Science in Industrial Economics An intensive two-year program of academic and research work, the Industrial Economics Program (IEP) has an excellent track record of producing economists with a firm grasp of business administration, with sharp minds capable of astute business and economic analyses, and with keen senses to draw strategy and policy implications for top management.

The Program is a challenging mix of work and study. It provides students with a solid understanding of economics as it is played out in the real world. It gives students the opportunity to interact with industry experts and policymakers through UA&P’s conferences, briefings, and numerous business contacts. Students under the Program are treated not as graduate students but as staff members who are part of the UA&P family. More importantly, the University’s strong tradition of liberal education will expose them not only to economic theory, mathematics, history, and research methods, but also to the fundamental values of man and society.

The IEP curriculum prepares the future policymaker and business leader for tasks related to strategic positioning, enterprise planning, and functions specific to the top management of a corporation, financial institution, or government agency.
